Our client is a globally recognised company with a market leading brand in its field. The Group operates across all continents, driving growth through a combination of organic and M&A activity as well as continual innovation.
The role is responsible for leading, developing and managing the reporting of divisional and business unit results and for the preparation of consolidated statutory regulatory and management accounts, ensuring management can effectively evaluate, plan and control the activities of the organisation. Leading a professional team of fifteen, the role will provide a value added service to Finance customers across the organisation, ensuring expert advice is provided on IFRS, accounting policies, solvency capital and technical accounting queries.
You will be a qualified accountant with proven leadership attributes and the ability to translate and implement strategic vision through people management and development activities. Extensive previous experience of financial reporting is essential, with demonstrable success of operating at a senior level within a multinational group. Detailed knowledge of complex group consolidations is a strong advantage, along with first-hand experience of delivering statutory and management reporting solutions in a complex and decentralised environment.You must also be able to interact with and influence at senior levels, particularly at Divisional and Executive level, up to Main Board.
