A Top 20 Accountancy Firm, based in Central London, is looking to hire Audit Seniors to join their Corporate division. The successful Audit Senior will gain exposure to a large diverse portfolio of clients through; mentoring, organizing and deploying staff while continually managing the client relationship.

Job Description

With 16 Partners across the Corporate Division alone, our client has the capabilities and capacity to develop their client base and is seeking driven and enthusiastic individuals to support them in doing so.

Main Responsibilities:

Perform audits as an audit senior from planning to fieldwork and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment.
Identify risk matters and raise with a manager and/or partner, while exercising judgement within agreed parameters.
Produce work for review, highlighting issues and providing potential solutions to issues identified.
Identify and understand client needs, suggest potential solutions on technical matters and communicate and agree client needs.
Active engagement with senior client staff in order to gain a good understanding of their business and ensure the efficient execution of the audit.
Take primary responsibility for ownership, completion and monitoring progress against budget for each assignment, and when the actual differs from the budget then gain a full understanding for the Manager.
Supervise, coach and develop junior members of staff within teams, on client premises and in the office.

Skills and Experience

Skills required to obtain position as an Audit Senior:

Qualifications: (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Good understanding of UK GAAP and/or IFRS
An understanding of Good people Management
Influence internal clients/colleagues
Work under pressure with accuracy and focus
Good communication and presentation skills
Willingness to learn and aid in the development of themselves and others
Strong organisational and time management skills
Keen to add value to our clients’ businesses
Team worker/people management skills
