Our client is a unique and innovative fund manager who seek to hire an Investment Manager into a Specialist Investment team. This team currently manage in excess of £500m, as part of a wider multi pound investment business.

In addition to gaining exposure to a range of structured finance transactions, your primary role will be focussed on the identification and execution of a broad range of renewable energy deals across solar, wind and biomass.

Job Description

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Assisting in the identification of investment opportunities.
Financial modelling of individual transactions including conducting appropriate sensitivity analysis.
Assist with negotiations and execution of selected investment opportunities
Involvement in the ongoing monitoring and management of assets.
Keeping abreast of tax legislation and changes to the extent that they affect or may affect Structured Tax products and investments

Skills and Experience

Candidate profile:

To be successful in your application you must be passionate about investing and be able to demonstrate the following:

An excellent academic record and a track record of working on mid market deals, ideally in the UK or Europe. Banking, Advisory or Investing experience will be considered. Engineering and Science backgrounds are preferable.
Prior experience of, or a keen interest in the renewable energy sector is essential.
ACA. MBA or CFA qualifications are helpful.
