Our client, a global private equity firm, is looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their London team. The successful individual will have prior experience taking ownership of an accounts payable function and thrive working in a fast-paced environment. This is a newly created role due to the growth of the business and offers the opportunity to implement systems, processes and best practices.
Description
The responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Ownership of the accounts payable function.
- Inputting, paying and processing of invoices.
- Handling employee expenses.
- Communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Mailbox management.
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks and projects within the wider finance function as requested.
Skills
The skills of the Accounts Payable Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Previous experience working in a similar accounts payable / purchase ledger role.
- Prior experience using Microsoft Dynamics or NAV would be advantageous.
- Ability to take ownership and see tasks through to completion.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- High level of speed and accuracy of data entry.
- Ability to adapt and thrive within a fast-paced environment.
