Our client, an established consultancy is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a 12 month FTC. This is a hands-on role supporting with financial controls, reporting and annual audit and would be an excellent first role out of practise. Starting early January 2026.
Description
-
Providing support for full month-end close, inter-company postings, accruals, prepayments and journal entries
-
Oversight of AR and AP teams, providing support where needed

Preparing financial statements for the Group and multiple entities, perform P&L and balance sheet reviews

Bank reconciliations and responsibility for FX revaluations

Support on external audit, along with any ad-hoc financial assistance
Skills
-
Recently Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent)
-
Strong knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP and accounting principles
-
Experience within audit or a professional services business is highly advantageous

Proficient in Excel and Microsoft D365

Proactive, organised and confident working in a fast-paced environment with a strong eye for detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills
