Description

The responsibilities of the Temporary Finance Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the forecasting and financial management of overhead costs.
  • Provide support for monthly pacing submissions and monitor budgeted figures against actual performance across multiple entities.
  • Prepare analytical reports and share clear, actionable insights with senior stakeholders to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee the preparation and posting of quarterly tax provision estimates.
  • Partner with the tax function to reconcile tax-related accounts and support compliance.
  • Lead quarterly business review meetings with key stakeholders throughout the organisation.
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee financial models, while leading critical aspects of the monthly and quarterly close processes, including payroll and accruals.
  • Manage and lead statutory audits for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP statutory reporting requirements.
  • Enhance financial model integration by automating workflows and improving efficiency.

Skills

The skills of the Temporary Financial Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) from Big 4 with at least 2-3 years’ post-qualified experience.
  • Experience working with SAP is desirable.
  • Experience working in media is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, evolving environment.
