Global Consumer Business
Our client, a global consumer business, is looking for a dynamic Management Accountant for a period of 6 months to take responsibility for head office accounts. The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role previously and have demonstrable experience with large ERP systems. This role requires an immediate start and will be three days in the office.
Description
The responsibilities of the Management Accountant include, but are not limited to:
- Process and code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts with all supporting documentation.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting.
- Prepare and post journal entries and lead on calculation and documentation of accruals.
- Carry out monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve any issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end financial statements.
- Support internal and external audits.
Skills
The skills of the Management Accountant include, but are not limited to:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within a similar role covering month-end close activities.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with a major ERP system.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail
