Description
We are currently seeking to recruit a Group Financial Controller to work with a small and highly experienced Group Finance Team, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Based in the Head Office, 5 days a week, there is one direct report and six other colleagues. As a senior member of the financial leadership team, the role is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of the group’s monthly and annual results, including the statutory audit process, setting the group’s financial accounting standards, reviewing the UK’s ledgers and helping the global function evolve to support the growing revenue.
Skills
Candidates should be highly experienced, qualified accountants with relevant reporting and accounting experience, ideally gained in an international business environment. Prior experience gained in retail, with exposure to correctly accounting for stock, would be advantageous. Candidates should have excellent attention to detail, be proactive and organised and able to work on their own initiative and self-manage.
