Our client is a market-leading FTSE listed international Group with strong brand recognition in its sector. Operating in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, with significant international operations, the business requires an interim Group Reporting Accountant to start ASAP to support them with the year end close. Initially a 6-month FTC but likely to be extended.
Description
The responsibilities of the Temporary Group Reporting Accountant include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately prepare the Group’s statutory and consolidated financial statements for annual reporting.
- Support statutory reporting across the Group, develop and implement accounting policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with IFRS.
- Support external audits and act as a key point of contact for auditors.
- Ensure a robust internal control environment is maintained.
Skills
The skills of the Temporary Group Reporting Accountant include, but are not limited to:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with relevant experience within a listed company.
- Experience with IFRS reporting.
- Excellent communication/stakeholder management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, evolving environment.
