Our client is a leading alternative asset management firm that has recently established an internal Family Office vehicle for senior executives and is now looking to make its first dedicated hire to manage the growing function, supporting the principals across a wide range of investments and structures. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the Family Office from its inception.
Description
In this Family Office Finance Associate role, you will sit at the heart of a sophisticated financial environment, working regularly with senior executives in a set-up that combines the rigour of an institutional asset manager with the entrepreneurial dynamism of a growing family office. The purpose of the role is to support the principals in all aspects of managing an investment portfolio and key responsibilities will include oversight of the portfolio, supporting on strategic investment decisions, sourcing and researching potential opportunities, serving as the primary point of contact for banking partners and financial advisors, supporting on regulatory reporting and tax compliance, and co-ordinating with other family offices or trusts on joint projects or philanthropic initiatives.
Requirements
The successful candidate for this Family Office Finance Associate role will have a strong academic profile and very likely be either a qualified accountant or chartered financial analyst. You need some post-qualification experience in investment management, private banking, or a family office environment. Our clients are seeking to hire somebody with superb communication and interpersonal skills and high levels of discretion and integrity.
