Our client, a PE-backed technology business is looking for a talented Management Accountant to join their London team. You will be involved in revenue reporting, supporting audit and automating processes across the finance function. The successful candidate will be actively studying towards an accounting qualification, have a proactive attitude and enjoy working in a fluid and fast paced environment.
Description
The responsibilities of the Management Accountant include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with operational teams to create accurate reporting, post journals and explain variances.
- Sales reconciliations and reporting.
- Monitor stock levels to manage orders.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Month end close.
- Plan for peak sales periods.
- Support with the UK audit and reporting.
- Ad hoc analysis for the senior finance team as requested.
Skills
The skills of the Management Accountant include, but are not limited to:
- Part-qualified accountant actively studying towards qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong Excel skills and demonstrable experience working with large data sets.
- Previous experience in a high volume transactional environment.
- Clear communication skills and attention to detail are crucial.
- Problem solver with a proactive mindset.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
