Our client is a leading European alternative investment manager with several billion Euros in assets under management. The firm is seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to support the Financial Controller and CFO as part of a fast-paced finance team.
Description
The appointee will be responsible for:
- Preparing the statutory accounts for multiple group entities
- Supporting the monthly consolidation process and taking ownership of areas such as accruals and pre-payments, as well as P&L cost variance reviews
- Supporting the finance team more widely to ensure that external regulatory and tax reporting obligations are met
- Oversight and mentoring of two junior, qualified accountants
- Helping to implement new technologies and systems to automate the above processes
- Supporting other team members in areas such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, employee expenses and cash management
Skills
The appointee will be a newly qualified ACA. We can consider candidates from either the ‘Big 4’/larger audit firms, as well as candidates who have trained in mid-tier firms with a blend of audit and accounts preparation experience.
