Our client, a global technology company, is looking for a Temporary Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their London team for a period of 6 months. This role involves taking ownership of cash allocations across several regions and supporting wider finance in achieving their objectives. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and prior experience working in a similar accounts receivable role. Requires an immediate start.
Description
The responsibilities for the Temporary Accounts Receivable Assistant include, but are not limited to:
- Upload bank statements onto the system and post cash receipts for all entities on a weekly basis.
- Update the daily cash tracker with commentary to enable cash forecasting.
- Raise credit notes and respond to ad-hoc queries.
- Prepare AR ledgers across all regions to present to relevant teams and senior management.
- Handle and resolve customer and internal queries through various channels in a timely manner.
- Update and maintain customer records.
Skills
The skills of the Temporary Accounts Receivable Assistant include, but are not limited to:
- Previous experience working in an accounts receivable role.
- Strong Excel skills are essential.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, including knowledge of debits and credits.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and exceptional attention to detail.
