Our client is a high growth manufacturing business developing and producing high spec technology-led products to address worldwide healthcare issues. They are currently looking to recruit a high-quality Head of FP&A to lead the Commercial Finance Team.
Description
The Head of FP&A will be responsible for all aspects of the annual budget and medium-term planning process for the Group. This person will work closely with the senior management, including the Chief Financial Officer to develop and run a high-quality Commercial Finance function. Responsible for supporting monthly business review and forecasting, this person will be expected to develop and maintain close relationships across the business to ensure a collaborative approach to financial planning. This is an important hire for the business and wider finance team and offers the opportunity to develop a best-in-class FP&A function.
Skills
The successful candidate for this Head of FP&A role will be a qualified accountant with experience working in an FP&A function in a hi-tech/biotech manufacturing business. Knowledge of supply chain and stock management is desirable, as is previous experience managing a team, although this is not essential. Individuals must have excellent communication skills, as they will be dealing with senior stakeholders across the business on a regular basis and will be required to drive forward improvements both operationally and strategically. As a Senior Finance Leader, this person needs to be hands on and someone who will thrive in a fast-growing entrepreneurial culture.
