Our client is a global leisure group operating across Europe, Australia, North America and Canada. They offer a unique and diverse range of services and experiences that are bespoke to their client’s needs. The combined business makes them the worlds’ largest provider of its kind and at the forefront of their sector.


Due to some internal change and growth, we are now seeking a central Business Partner for a specialist business unit operating across the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.  This is a high profile role, business partnering and support the business unit. You will work closely with the Finance Director and the Managing Directors’ in order to challenge and help shape the strategic direction in a finance capacity, while performing the central finance activities as required. The Business Partner will need to understand the performance drivers across the business and be able to challenge risks as well as be insightful on potential opportunities. You will manage the planning and budgeting processes across the business and understand and challenge the strategy, 3 year plan and budget. Other responsibilities will include managing the monthly MI and P&L reporting and consolidation processes and managing the preparation of the business review meeting and Board presentations. You will perform cost centre management and month end process for the overheads cost centre, including reporting of actuals and forecasting for both P&L and balance sheet accounts.


The ideal candidate will be a graduate, qualified accountant, ideally having trained in a Transaction Services, Lead Advisory or another commercial team within a professional services environment. You may also currently be in a corporate role having had experience in business partnering non-finance or you may even have moved away from mainstream finance into an equity research capacity.  You will have business partnering and strategic skills, be able to build relationships across the business and have the ability to challenge and influence at the most senior levels.  You will be able to work under pressure and be a strategic thinker with the ability to see the bigger picture, but also possess the desire to dive into the detail when required.
