- CHF150,000 - CHF200,000 + bonus + benefits
Our client is a globally recognisable brand and a world leader in its field. Founded over 100 years ago, the group now boasts revenue approaching $20bn with operations in 70 countries. It has consistently appeared in ‘most admired company’ lists by adopting a model combining local market insight, broad services, specialised expertise and premier tools and resources.
Due to the current incumbent being unable to relocate to Zug, we are now looking for a new Treasury Director for the EMEA region. The Treasury Director, EMEA will be responsible for all EMEA treasury activities, streamline processes, support business needs and provide requested information in a timely fashion.
Critically, you will work with and support the VP of Treasury with a vision of ‘lifting’ the current treasury infrastructure and management approaches to best practice by improving and delineating the controls and processes which are currently in place. You will contribute to a wider change process within the Treasury function and across the wider Finance organisation. You will work with and engage with the business on a number of cross- treasury projects and provide input and expertise to help lift the profile of the department. In addition, you will engage more with the markets and will work to build and further develop existing banking relationships.
Key working experience should include:
- Cash management and treasury operations
- Treasury risk management
- Foreign exchange
- Interest rate hedging
- Hedge accounting principles
The ideal candidate is likely to be an ACT qualified or equivalent, with a track record in Treasury gained within a complex matrix structured, US-listed environment. You should have enjoyed a successful career to date and have the drive and energy required to build and lead a new team. You might be in a similar corporate environment looking for a step up or potentially at a senior level in treasury within an international accountancy firm. You will be able to demonstrate a passion for business and possess a willingness to step out of your comfort zone in what is a highly demanding environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills aligned with the ability to reason, persuade and influence effectively are essential as is the need for entrepreneurial flare in order to make an impact in transforming how EMEA treasury works in the longer term. Knowledge and exposure to capital markets would be advantageous.
