Our client is an omni-channel business and one of the pre-eminent companies in its field with operations across Central and Eastern Europe. The Groups most significant markets span three key countries, but they also have multiple offices across Europe and the UK. Privately owned with a high calibre board of directors and a significant private equity investor, the business currently has revenues approaching €1bn and is well funded and positioned to continue its expansion. With a strong team in place as a driving force for its success and revenues currently growing by 40%, they have a strategic plan to increase market share in Central and Eastern Europe.

Description

We are now seeking a highly commercial candidate as Director of FP&A, reporting to the Group Commercial Finance Director.  You will be responsible for leading and providing direction to a team of finance business partners and company wide senior management on the overall planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of the company's financial performance. This will involve developing and managing financial analysis procedures, as well as identifying and prioritising recommended actions to drive sustainable value creation across the business. In addition, the role includes financial analysis, modelling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations. The Director of FP&A will prepare and maintain metric-driven financial models used to forecast and evaluate company profitability and perform additional analysis to support the exec team in key future decisions.

Skills

The ideal candidate will be a Finance or Accounting graduate, ideally with a professional accounting qualification although this is not essential. You will have a minimum of 7 to 10 years in industry with prior experience of managing and leading an FP&A function and relevant consumer, leisure, digital, retail or e-Commerce experience would serve as an advantage.  You will have strong analytical, presentation and communication skills and possess financial modelling skills, along with understanding of financial reporting and cash flow information. Your will need to demonstrate the ability to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks to meet deadlines and be able to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and outside parties to maximise performance and results.
