Our client is an FTSE 100 company based in Central London. The business is highly acquisitive and is performing very well across the Group, with significant share price accretion over the last few years. They have grown to become one of the largest and most reputable service providers in its industry, with impressive international operations.

Description

Reporting directly to the SVP of Corporate Development, we are currently searching for a Senior Innovation Manager to work across the global business to support the development of new technology led service offerings and key innovation projects, including partnerships to accelerate organic growth.  We are looking for a self-motivated candidate with and interest in new technologies to act as a key member of the team taking ownership of digitalisation and innovation across the business and providing leadership and driving technology and innovation for the financial growth in a sustainable manner. This is a highly strategic and forward-thinking role requiring an experienced and seasoned leader who has demonstrable experience of delivering major projects against tight deadlines.  You will also act as a business partner and commercial sounding board to the Head of Corporate Development and Divisional MDs to drive innovative ideas to grow the business for its core products base and capitalise on the wider Group service offerings to drive margin accretive growth.

Skills

The successful candidate is likely to have around 5-10 years’ demonstrable experience gained in either Innovation, a top tier Strategy Consulting firm, Corporate Strategy / Business Development, M&A in an Investment Bank or possibly Transaction Services / Consulting in one of the larger accounting firms. Ideally you will have some sustainability experience and possess the understanding of the regulative framework involved.  To be successful, you will need to be excellent at evaluating complex business models and making recommendations to senior decision makers. Experience evaluating technology-based innovation solutions, including potential service providers, will also be desirable in this hire. Key areas of interest include big data, data analytics, blockchain, AI, Machine Learning, Sustainability and ESG. You will be a strategic thinker, someone of sound judgement, be able to bring the right level of confidence and possess the ability to run with projects independently. You will need to be persuasive but have the highest levels of integrity and be able to influence at all levels.
