Our client is a London-based, global premium technology brand, with revenues of c. £300m and manufacturing and R&D sites in the UK, Europe, US, and Asia. Following a drive for change and transformation in the business, they are now looking to strengthen the commercial finance capability by expanding the FP&A function.
Description
This is a newly created role that reports directly to the Group Financial Controller and Head of FP&A and will have regular interaction with other senior stakeholders across the Group. The Group FP&A Manager will lead a team of two FP&A analysts to deliver high quality information and analysis to support and enable performance management and decision making. You will be responsible for regular month end reporting, budgeting and forecasting with ad-hoc analysis and will have key involvement in a variety of project work. This role will own the preparation of consolidated actual and forecast results of the business as well as the Group Management Accounts and reforecast documents. Excellent communication is required to help form strong relationships with both the finance teams of the divisions and the operating units beneath them. Previous team management would be beneficial in helping to support and develop a very capable FP&A team.
Skills
The ideal candidate for this Group FP&A Manager role will be a graduate with demonstrable and impactful experience post qualification (CIMA /ACCA/ACA or equivalent), more specifically within an FP&A function. You will have a proactive mindset and be a self-starter, able easily identify improvement opportunities coupled with the ability to deal with ambiguity. You will need to possess strong analytical, data manipulation and system configuration skills including being excellent with excel modelling. In addition, you will ideally have experience of working in both group and operating company environments and possess some exposure to multi-currency organisations.
