Description
Working closely with the CEO, as a key business partner, the Chief Financial Officer will play a critical role in shaping and delivering the company’s financial strategy while supporting the continued scaling of the business. This is a high-impact position offering the opportunity to influence both operational performance and long-term strategic direction within a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
As a key member of the senior management team, the Chief Financial Officer will lead the finance function, ensuring robust financial control, efficient processes, and high-quality reporting. The role will also provide commercial insight and strategic guidance to support sustainable growth, profitability, and long-term value creation. The successful candidate will partner closely with leadership across the organisation, contributing to both organic expansion and potential acquisitive opportunities. This is also a broader role with additional responsibilities across functions, allowing real influence in driving change.
Skills
The ideal candidate for this Chief Financial Officer role will be a qualified accountant with an early career foundation in a high-quality corporate environment, who has probably transitioned into an SME or growth business setting. Candidates should bring a combination of commercial acumen, operational finance leadership, and experience supporting scaling businesses. Prior experience in leading continuous improvement and transformation projects, potentially within a private equity backed environment, would be highly desirable.
We are seeking an individual who is bright, ambitious, and driven, with the capability to build and lead a best-in-class finance function while acting as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and wider leadership team.
