Senior Accountant

Our client is looking to hire a senior accountant within their London office who would have responsibility for managing the accounting of their UK entities.


The role is varied. You will have responsibility for the three of the UK entities and provide assistance to the wider UK staff whilst liaising with the International Group Accounting team and the external accounting firms. Specifically you will participate in the implementation of a new accountancy system. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including: Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Tax Coordination and process system implementation.  


The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with at least 4 years of experience in Capital Markets / Asset Management relevant to the Accounts. They will have a strong knowledge of both UK GAAP and IFRS GAAP. Additional skills will include strong communication skills and the ability to work across offices. They will have a strong academic background and to have demonstrated pursuit of a long-term career in finance and accountancy.
