Our client is a unique, well-funded start up with a workforce approaching 400 and dual headquarters in London and New York. Operating in the field of high-performance sport, involved in the organisation of international events, and with extensive broadcasting rights, the business has a truly global reach in what is a fast-paced, innovative, and high-profile environment.
To support further planned growth, we are currently seeking to recruit a talented and highly motivated Senior Finance Manager to take charge of commercial activities around key global events. Working with the COO and VP, Operations the successful individual will have strong analytical and technology skills and an ability to think outside the box to solve the financial challenges that face both individual events and the company as a whole. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is looking to work for a new player in the entertainment sports industry in a fast-paced environment and with a highly motivated group of individuals. The role includes a significant opportunity for growth with a pathway to financial leadership roles within the organisation within 3-4 years.
Candidates will be qualified accountants, with strong attention to detail, able to both think strategically and be prepared to operate in a hands-on fashion, when required, in what is still an SME environment. They should possess excellent communication and influencing skills and feel comfortable working via telephone and video conference with other international offices, particularly in the US. Commercial exposure gained in sports, broadcasting, events, sponsorship, and hospitality retail would also be helpful.
