Our client is a successful growth buyout firm, investing across sectors, but with a particular interest in high growth tech and tech-enabled firms. Their strategy focuses on working closely with management teams to accelerate growth and take companies to the next level. Our client is successful internationally but is looking to expand further into Northern Europe therefore a fluency in languages in these areas are required.
Description
In anticipation of a new Fund raise in 2023, our client is currently seeking to recruit up to 3 Associates to focus on supporting Partners on further expansion into Northern European investments.
Working as part of a small, collaborative team, this is a true 360 degree role, incorporating all aspects of the private equity investment cycle. Responsibilities will include screening and evaluating investment opportunities, managing transactions through to completion and working closely with management teams on delivering growth and value creation. The team has a genuinely entrepreneurial feel, works closely and in a highly collaborative style with their management teams and their investment track record to date is top quartile for both their previous Funds.
Skills
Ideally candidates will have a minimum of 3 years full-time experience in mid-market corporate finance / M&A within either investment banking or a leading international accountancy firm. Candidates must have proficiency (native or business fluent) in a Northern European language.
Previous exposure to working on private equity deals is advantageous, as is a desire to work in an entrepreneurial and intellectually curious environment. Training will be provided, but having good EQ and the raw skill set of having an investor mindset are key.
