Our client is a market leading Private Equity backed international business with revenues in excess of £400m, a high quality Blue Chip client base and a footprint in 60 countries globally. While the business model today is largely based on selling people services, the business is at the forefront of digitising and automating these services for the future. The group is highly profitable and is well positioned for further expansion with a new and experienced international management team.
Description
This is a newly created role that will manage two direct reports in order to provide treasury support to the Group Financial Controller and CFO on all aspects Group treasury. The primary responsibility of the role is to add value across the Group by ensuring efficient and robust treasury activity and policies and by developing an effective treasury strategy. The successful candidate will be the global custodian for all cash forecasting and will play an integral role in liquidity and working capital management, fund raising activities and the management of banking relationships. They will ensure there is compliance with intercompany policies as well as having oversight on investment activity, customer payment terms and credit agreements. There will also be regular ad hoc projects, such as M&A funding, as required by the CFO and the wider Senior Management team.
Skills
Applicants should be qualified accountants, possibly ACT qualified and have gained significant treasury experience within industry and/or in a relevant advisory capacity. Functional excellence and strong communication and relationship building skills at all levels, across different nationalities would be highly desired as would the ability to assimilate and present precise, accurate and timely data to management in both informal and formal situations. Candidates should enjoy challenging the status quo and be motivated to seek continuous improvement in delivering better business results. A self-starter with good problem-solving skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, you should possess the technical and presentation skills to influence the Senior Management team and deal with relevant external partners and authorities.
