Our client is a privately owned, highly profitable EdTech company that is currently at an advanced stage in securing private equity funding. With a high-quality management team, a strong position in a growing market and an ambitious new investor to shortly be announced, the business is poised to embark on the next stage of its growth story.
Description
To support this growth, we are currently seeking an ambitious CFO to join the management team in what is a strategic and highly commercial finance role. The accounting function is currently outsourced, and the day-to-day finance is both straightforward and well controlled. Acting as a business partner to the CEO/Founder you will have significant operational involvement in supporting both organic and acquisitive growth and the company is strategically aligned to make significant acquisitions within its sector.
Skills
Candidates should feel comfortable working in a fast paced, high growth environment and be able to work autonomously in a proactive way. Prior experience gained working in an early-stage eCommerce business would be highly advantageous, as would prior experience working in a private equity backed business. Given the intention to significantly enhance organic growth with selective acquisitions, candidates will ideally have prior experience in this area.
