This exciting role sits within the headquarters of a major global private equity firm. We are looking for a distinctive individual from a strategy consulting background, who brings together strategic thinking, business acumen and strong analytical capabilities.
Working in a small team and at the highest levels across the entire firm, you will assist the Director of Management Operations across three key functions:
- External and internal communications and engagement: supporting the firm's positioning for deal-making and helping to shape external perception; designing and executing an internal communications plan and supporting the business strategy and people agenda.
- Data, analysis and knowledge: facilitating the collection of deal, market, portfolio and team related information; analysing and developing insights and working alongside the global research team.
- Programme and project management: providing assistance across various internal programmes and projects.
We are looking for a strong performer from a major global strategy consulting firm, with great interpersonal skills and the ability to connect and influence others in a fast-paced and intellectually demanding environment.
You are likely to have strong academics from a leading institution and an analytical mindset. The role is most likely to appeal to someone with 2+ years of strategy consulting experience, looking to gain exposure within the operations function of a leading Private Equity firm.
While some exposure to transactions and/or private equity is useful, our requirements are really focused on a track record of successful project and programme management, your ability to shift between conceptual thinking and implementation and your ability to deliver impact through communication. Needless to say, since the role operates at the very heart of the firm, your ability to lead, influence and communicate at all levels is crucial. Finally, this is a hands-on role, requiring a can-do attitude.
The insights gained in this role will be exceptional and offer incredible exposure to a leading Private Equity firm's operations function.
