Our client is a well established, highly ambitious private investment firm, with multiple investment strategies across the capital structure. We are looking for an experienced investment professional to join the business in a leadership position.
The role will involve sourcing and leading investments, both in the UK and across Continental Europe, typically committing between €20m - €55m per investment. Experience of investing across the capital structure, including both equity and debt in both majority and minority situations, is essential. The remit will cover various sectors, including consumer and retail, business services, technology and media.
Candidates must have a clear track record of originating, structuring and closing successful investments across the UK and Continental Europe and this must include a number of realisations. Fluency in a mainstream European language, in addition to English, will be advantageous. Exposure to both minority and majority investments is useful, as is a strong track record of working with family owned businesses and entrepreneurs.
