Our client, a leading alternative capital provider, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a six-week project role to assist the Finance Director with the audit and the successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent) with strong experience in preparing financial statements. Offering hybrid working, this is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to build on their existing knowledge and gain experience in a fast-growing business. Ideally starting mid-April.
Description
- Preparation of financial statements.
- Preparation of financials for the operating subsidiaries.
- Preparation of the subsidiaries to move from UK GAAP to IFRS.
- Assist with auditor queries.
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks to support the Finance Director.
- Follow important deadlines for the audit.
Skills
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent).
- Experience with a PLC audit will be advantageous.
- Consolidation experience is favourable.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- A confident, energetic, and self-motivated individual who takes initiative.
- Reliable, organised, diplomatic, energetic, sociable, and presentable.
