Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group FP&A Director, this newly created role will act as a finance partner to the International Group Director, leading regional financial planning, analysis and performance management across an International region. The position will play a central role in driving a high-performance finance culture, embedding best practice and delivering forward-looking insight across planning, budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision-making processes. The Head of Regional FP&A will partner closely with both Group leadership as well as with site leadership across the region, ensuring financial plans and performance metrics are robust, actionable and aligned to the Group’s strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities will include ownership of regional budgets, the five-year business plan, and rolling forecasts; leading monthly reporting and performance reviews; providing detailed cost and capital expenditure analysis; and supporting strategic initiatives such as site redevelopment, investment appraisals and joint venture opportunities. The role will also lead and develop a high performing team, fostering a collaborative, insight-driven culture and ensuring consistent financial standards and processes across the region.
Skills
The successful candidate for this Head of Regional FP&A role will be a qualified accountant with substantial experience in a senior FP&A, divisional finance or commercial finance leadership role within a complex, international organisation. They will demonstrate strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to influence across operational and executive levels. Prior experience in a private equity-backed environment and/or capital-intensive sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.
