Our client is a leading international Technology & Information Group, undergoing a significant period of transformation that is being driven by a new leadership team and backed by a high profile private equity shareholder.
The Role
Working closely with the CFO, the Senior FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring commercial support and financial accuracy across these key groupwide projects. Responsibilities include:
- Financial management of key project metrics on a global basis.
- Financial analysis and tracking KPIs for projects, coordinating with the wider finance team on governance & compliance and monthly/quarterly reporting cycles.
- Producing accurate and timely management reports for the leadership team and external shareholder, including variance analysis and tracking capex vs opex.
- Supporting annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and 5-year long-range planning across international teams.
- Partnering with Finance Business Partners and operational stakeholders to provide insight that informs decision-making and highlights risks and opportunities.
- Driving improvements, productivity and automation across reporting processes and tools.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate for this Senior FP&A Manager role will be an experienced FP&A professional with a strong track record in complex, matrixed, multinational environments. You will demonstrate:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) along with deep expertise across budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and Board level KPI reporting.
- Experience managing finance processes during periods of change, ideally involving large, business critical project work.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work closely with senior leaders in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying risks and driving improvements.
- A collaborative working style, with resilience and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving contexts.
- High proficiency with finance systems and a desire to improve efficiency and accuracy using technology and automation.
- Experience in contract-led or technology-enabled businesses is advantageous.
