Vice President - Private Equity Co-investment
Leading Global Private Equity Investor
- Competitive Basic + Bonus + Longer Term Incentives
Our client is one of the most established and admired Private Equity investment firms, with global offices and a track record stretching back to the 1970s. The firm's strategies include Primary, Secondary and Co-investment programmes, each with dedicated teams of highly respected specialists. The firm is now looking to add a talented investment professional to join its co-investment team in London.
As a Vice President you will be part of an established and thriving team in London, making co-investments in European companies, across a range of sizes and sectors. Deal volume is high, with the team making 20-25 investments each year, offering exposure to a variety of different situations and strategies. The team is lean and you will have plenty of scope to develop and to move your career forward in this collaborative, professional environment.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate recent experience in the Private Equity industry, having built up at least 3 years' track record in a direct or co-investing environment. This experience is likely to have followed an earlier post-graduate career in investment banking, consulting or the transaction team within one of the Big4 professional services firms.
As a VP you will be central to the research, origination and execution of transactions. Attention to detail and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships is essential.
You will be able to demonstrate a high quality academic background, along with an analytical mindset and natural curiosity. You will also be team-orientated, hard-working and resilient.
This is an opportunity to join a highly successful, growing business at a time when it is looking to cement its position as a market leader.
