Our client is a highly acquisitive start-up pursuing a buy-and-build strategy within the vaping sector, with ambitious growth plans for the coming years. Created by a group of highly successful entrepreneurs, the business is currently signing agreements to buy, professionalise and create the largest independent vaping group in the world.
Description
To help execute their strategic plans, the business is looking to hire an FP&A Manager to lead FP&A for the Group. A newly created position, the role will report directly to the Group CFO. Key duties include managing the budgeting and forecasting process, production of monthly board papers, implementing KPI’s and providing insight and support to the senior management team. This role will be a core member of the Finance team and will business partner the senior leadership team and stakeholders within the group, specifically working with the CFO and CCO on synergy calculations and plans to execute. Therefore, having a curious mind, strong communication skills and being a team player will be vital for applicants.
Skills
Candidates will need to be qualified accountants (ACA/CA or equivalent) with post-qualified experience in FP&A or a broad commercial finance role. Having a ‘start-up mindset’ is crucial, you will need to be a self-starter, inquisitive, hardworking and be ready to roll your sleeves up to address any task you’re presented with. Candidates will need to be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, as well as keeping apace in what will be a fast-paced and challenging environment.
