Our client is a team of dreamers and makers building a global beauty and wellness multi-brand platform through nurturing and scaling the next generation of conscious, purpose-driven brands. We are hiring an FP&A Manager to play a crucial role within our Group Finance team, supporting the central finance function. The role will report to the Head of FP&A, working closely with the wider finance team, as well as the BI and commercial teams within the brands. Relevant industry experience will be a strong advantage, and a curious, collaborative, problem-solving mindset is essential.
Description
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute monthly finance reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting financial performance and variances from budget/forecast.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes, working with brands to manage submissions, consolidate, perform variance analysis, and help refine the budget. Regularly update and adjust forecasts as needed.
- Own the end-to-end process for Central Costs from preparing the forecast to the month-end close process of booking actual spend and completeness of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Cash flow forecasting: maintain weekly cash and net debt forecasts for the Group.
- Financial Modelling: Support in updating and maintaining three statement financial models underpinning the three-year plan.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by senior management, including supporting the Brands on ad-hoc commercial finance analysis.
- Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity, working with accounting and IT teams to implement Tableau across the Group.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with the Group Finance team and the brands is key to gathering and validating financial information.
Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree plus a professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).
- Experience: 4+ years’ PQE, with relevant experience in financial analysis, gained within FP&A or a closely related field. Experience with financial modelling and data analysis is highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Tableau experience is highly desirable, enthusiasm to learn a must.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly and concisely.
- Business Acumen: A solid understanding of business operations and the ability to connect financial analysis to strategic decision-making.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team both within and outside of finance, as well as independently when necessary.
- Time Management: Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
