Our client is a high-growth healthcare business with over 80 locations in England and Wales and circa half a billion turnover. Offering mental health and wellbeing support in specially designed centres, this business is part of a large, international healthcare group. They are searching for an experienced Group Financial Controller to manage operational finance and support the CFO through continued growth.
Description
We are seeking an experienced controller and qualified accountant to provide leadership across the finance function and support the CFO of this rapidly growing business. The successful candidate will work with the strong team in place to consolidate and drive the smooth operation of core financial processes, systems, controls, and risk management. You will have extensive contact with the group finance function of the parent company who acquired the business in early 2022, ensuring that all reporting requirements are met and assisting with the transition from private equity ownership. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to consolidate and improve systems to ensure optimal output. This is a fantastic opportunity for the experienced finance professional to manage a high-quality finance function in a growing company with an important mission.
Skills
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with proven experience of controllership in a multi-site business and strong technical acumen. Experience with ERP implementation and reporting into an overseas office is preferred but not essential, as is experience in the Healthcare sector.
