Our client is a well-known and highly regarded entrepreneurial mid-market UK Private Equity firm, investing across a broad range of sectors including services, technology, consumer and education. Their strategy focusses on working closely with management teams to drive growth.
With a reputable fund track record before them, we are now seeking one or two additional Investment Managers to join the team.
Description
Working as part of a small, but highly experienced team, this is a true 360 degree role, incorporating all aspects of the private equity investment cycle. Responsibilities will include screening and evaluating investment opportunities, creating the investment thesis, completing investments, managing portfolio efforts to drive value creation and completing successful exits.
Skills
Ideally candidates will have a minimum of five years full-time experience in mid market UK corporate finance / M&A, strategy consulting CDD, or have relevant transaction experience from a leading accountancy firm (lead advisory or transaction services). Candidates must have strong academics (most likely in STEM/finance subjects).
Previous exposure to private equity deals is advantageous, as is a desire to work in a collaborative, team orientated environment. The firm offers a rare mix of autonomy, responsibility and an accelerated learning opportunity.
