A permanent opportunity exists within a well known global restaurant group. Based in Central London, the successful individual will be responsible for
accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, supporting the finance team, ensuring payments made and received are managed with accuracy and in a timely manner.

Description

  • Processing FnB, Sundry, CAPEX and head office invoices into Sage accounting system
  • Reconcile supplier statements to the general ledger
  • Maintaining accounts mail inbox, promptly dealing with all supplier queries over email or phone
  • Assisting with the setup of mid-month & month end Payment Runs and chasing payment approval
  • Ownership of expense claims, including tracking and processing
  • Preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage petty cash transactions
  • Assisting with month end deadlines
  • Daily cash up – agreeing cash, credit card, Deliveroo, bank transfers and debtors.
  • Weekly reconciliation of cash and credit card receipts to statements
  • Raising invoices and ensuring customers meet our payment terms, including chasing for payment
  • Preparation on month end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Liaising with sites to ensure all cash reconciliations are completed on time and to chase when necessary
  • Assisting with month end deadlines
  • Ad hoc requests from the Finance team and the business

Skills

  • Previous experience working in a finance environment, within accounts payable and receivable in particular
  • Strong excel experience
  • Ability to work well and communicate within a team
  • Experience working to tight deadlines.
