Working as part of the Financial Operations team, the French-speaking Finance Manager will cover the legal entities in France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Belgium. The role is for an initial period of 3 months and due to start as soon as possible.

Description

  • Report into the Record to Report Lead, who is based in Salzburg.
  • Manage a direct report placed in Italy.
  • Develop a close relationship with the leadership team.
  • Responsible for all local financial statements and tax audits.
  • Responsible for all direct and indirect taxes as well as statistical reporting.
  • Perform regular period-end tasks, including looking after fixed assets.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders on the preparation of financial statements for legal entities.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations for accounts within responsibility.
  • Apply internal control standards to companies that fall under remit.

Skills

  • Native-level French speaker.
  • Qualified accountant or equivalent.
  • Experience of working within accounting and handling tax and financial statement audits and being the first contact for the auditors.
  • Familiar with performing internal controls and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Profound knowledge of direct and indirect taxes as well as statistical reporting.
  • A great communicator who can build strong, cross-functional relationships and explain the “why” behind a financial process in a simple, engaging way.
  • A structured and documented work approach.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • As a bonus: Power BI knowledge and experience with D365.
