Our client, a well established property development company based in Central London is seeking a Part-Time Finance Assistant to support the finance team. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified, have strong Accounts Payable experience and looking to work 3 days a week.

Description

The duties for this Part-Time Finance Assistant role include but are not limited to:

Processing purchase invoices into the accounting system

  • Digital upload to accounting system and review of detail and coding before posting.
  • Manual upload of project cost invoices to project accounting system.
  • Monitor inbox and download monthly DD invoices from relevant portal.

Staff expenses

  • Review staff expenses, ensure, accurate, and in line with company coding structure.
  • Post to accounting system through software integration and ensure complete within accounting system.

Project related rechargeable costs

  • Assist Financial Accountant in drafting rechargeable invoices and sourcing receipts.

Other

  • Post credit card summary into accounting system.
  • Draft BACs payment runs for staff expenses and suppliers in accounting system and upload to Lloyds for approval.
  • Provide support to finance team where needed.

Skills

The skills required for this Part-Time Finance Assistant role include:

  • AAT qualified or equivalent with strong Accounts Payable experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Seeking a part-time role (22.5 hours / 3 days a week).
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Strong Excel and systems experience.
