This is a critical role ensuring financial integrity by managing end-to-end reconciliation process, maintaining alignment between internal systems and external counterparties, and driving continuous improvement in operational controls.

The successful individual will be eager to learn, a strong communicator with excellent Excel skills, and have a keen interest in sports.

Description

The duties and responsibilities for this Reconciliations Manager role include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure accurate recording and settlement of events, including reconciliation of balances with counterparties.
  • Perform daily reconciliation and aggregation of counterparty balances.
  • Maintain regular communication with counterparties & teams to investigate and resolve queries.
  • Record changes to balances and manage transfers efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiencies.
  • Lead a small team to deliver on organisational goals.
  • Monitor team performance regularly to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Manage resources effectively to support operational needs.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Commercial Business Manager, Head of Settlement, Financial Controller, and CFO.

Skills

The skills and experience required for this Reconciliations Manager role include, but are not limited to:

  • A minimum of 3 years working in a high-volume reconciliations role.
  • Previous managerial experience.
  • Exceptional numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong communication abilities, with experience engaging senior management.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Macros is desirable.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends.
