Director of Financial Reporting
- Central London
- c£120k + car, bonus and benefits
Our client is a FTSE50 company based in central London. The business is highly acquisitive and performing very well across the Group, with significant share price accretion over the last 24 months. A rare opportunity now exists to join the senior management team in a high profile role.
The successful individual will play a major leadership role in supporting the Group Financial Controller and CFO in driving on-going improvements to the Group’s financial controls, systems and processes. You will be responsible for accurate and timely production of consolidated reporting, for the project to produce the Group’s Annual and interim reports, and work with other Group functional leaders on accounting matters including FP&A, tax, treasury, IT and internal audit. Acquisitions will play an important role in the Group’s mid-term strategy and this role will assist in both pre acquisition diligence and post acquisition integration. There are significant growth opportunities for the right candidate as the role offers a depth and breadth of both multi geography and multi business line exposure in a fast growing, dynamic business which continues to deliver significant year-on-year growth.
The successful candidate will be a qualified ACA, or equivalent, with a first class academic background and a demonstrable track record of achievement to date. You are likely to have reached Senior Manager/Junior Director level within a major international accounting public practice or be a Head of Reporting within a large international corporate. Possessing strong leadership and communications skills, you will be open minded, have a flexible attitude and real pace and drive. This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding candidate to join a growing FTSE50 company. We are not looking for a technical accounting ‘lifer’. You should be considering this as your first step into a globally recognised leader in its field with a strong track record of internal promotion and career development.
The remuneration package will reflect the seniority of the position and will include an attractive basic salary, company car, bonus, normal executive benefits and the opportunity to develop a stimulating career with this high profile international Group.
This job is currently on hold, but will proceed as an assignment as soon as appropriate. We are current collating responses and will contact you as soon as the assignment commences.
