M&A Senior Manager

Our client is an FTSE100 group, operating across the globe, and is a leader in its niche markets. With its strong balance sheet, the Group is well-positioned to seize the attractive external growth opportunities in a highly fragmented industry and they continue to make progress with their M&A strategy.
The Group has a very strong track record of internal promotion and, as a result, we now have a rare opportunity for an M&A Manager to join this small but effective team, reporting to the Senior VP of Corporate Development. The Group operates a decentralised operating model so we are looking for an exceptional individual with experience of the end-to-end M&A process, working closely with countries and business lines, maintaining & developing acquisition operating controls and systems. You will have a proven track record in managing M&A transactions and have a high degree of numeracy and financial analytical skills. The successful individual will have a background in developing and managing relationships at an executive level with excellent communication skills.
The role will suit either an ACA, or equivalent, from an international accounting firm who has trained in Lead Advisory, an investment banker who is keen to move in-house, or an M&A professional already working in the in-house team of a similar corporate. Key strengths we are seeking include financial acumen, prior experience in managing M&A transactions from start to finish, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
