Our client is a FTSE 100 company based in central London. The business is highly acquisitive and performing very well across the Group, with significant share price accretion over the last few years. They have grown to become one of the largest and most reputable service providers in its industry, with impressive international operations.
Description
We are now looking to recruit an Associate for their Investor Relations team. Working directly with the Vice President of Investor Relations, you will use your analytical and commercial skills to help deliver high quality materials to support the communication of the Group’s performance and development to the investor community and internal audiences. In addition, you will be involved in various ad-hoc projects that might include, as an example, analyses of competitors' performance and macro-economic data. The opportunities for development and growth are in your hands as the Group has the global footprint, and track record, to realise your career aspirations. As part of your role, you will regularly engage with the CEO and key members of the Senior Leadership Team. With approximately 40 people on-site you will have the opportunity to network with their inspirational people on a daily basis, as well as meet many of their global colleagues.
Skills
The successful candidate is likely to have around 2 – 5 years’ work experience and a keen interest in Equity Markets, IR and Data Analytics. We are considering individuals from a number of backgrounds provided you can show strong numeracy, first class analytical skills, an ability to think on your feet, and the confidence to be able to present to senior management. You will need to be persuasive but have the highest levels of integrity with the ability to influence at a variety of levels. Examples of suitable backgrounds might include qualified accountants from a leading professional services firm with experience in M&A or TS, equity research or similar from either investment banking or asset management, or Financial PR. It is an opportunity not only for someone who wants to be in Investor Relations but also a real stepping-stone into a highly successful global organisation with a view to building a long-term career in other areas of the Group.
