An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join the Group Finance team in London. The Group Accountant will play a key role in the monthly consolidation, statutory reporting, and continuous improvement of group financial processes. The position offers broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to work closely with senior management in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Description
Key responsibilities will include the preparation of the monthly group consolidation across multiple international entities, ownership of intercompany reconciliations, support of the year-end statutory reporting process and group audit, and maintenance and enhancement of internal controls, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies. In addition, you will assist with the preparation of management and board-level reports, including variance and trend analysis, support finance transformation projects and process improvements across the group, and liaise with regional finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting.
Skills
The successful candidate is likely to be ACA qualified, ideally trained in a top-tier audit firm, with up to 2 years post-qualification experience in a group accounting or financial reporting role, preferably within a multinational or high-growth organisation. You should bring strong technical knowledge of IFRS and consolidation principles, as well as excellent attention to detail, analytical capability, and communication skills.
