Our client, an international professional services firm, is looking for a Global FP&A Analyst to join their London team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will work with the global functions and their leadership teams on managing their budgets. The successful candidate will have previous experience in delivering timely financial reports and analysis within complex finance environments and have excellent business partnering skills.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will work with the global functions and their leadership teams on managing their budgets. The successful candidate will have previous experience in delivering timely financial reports and analysis within complex finance environments and have excellent business partnering skills.

Description

The responsibilities of the Global FP&A Analyst include but are not limited to:

  • Ownership of the financial planning cycle and rolling forecasting process for some of the corporate services functions.
  • Monitor monthly reporting on overheads, expenses and salaries and business partner with the internal teams regarding management information.
  • Review and analyse financial performance to produce executive reports and insightful commentary used to support decision making.
  • Coordinate data flows from finance systems, ensuring integrity and completeness of the data used for reporting purposes.
  • Provide timely updates and support to the FP&A Manager.
  • Ad hoc reporting requests.

Skills

The skills of the Global FP&A Analyst include but are not limited to:

  • Previous experience in a global accounting team working with complex finance systems and data flows.
  • Previous experience of project accounting / cost accounting a distinct advantage.
  • Actively studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA or CIMA).
  • Proven track record of producing accurate and timely reports to a high standard.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in identifying and managing risks.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI (desirable).
