Our client is a leading Private Equity fund focusing on investing in five different sectors. They are currently looking to grow their European presence and expand their investment team at their HQ in Brussels with the addition of an Associate.
Description
As an Investment Associate, you will start as a generalist before transitioning to a more sector-specific role once you have gained a few years of experience. You will be involved in the entire investment life cycle, from origination to execution of investments, portfolio management and subsequent realisation. You will join a highly experienced and diverse team and be an integral part of sourcing and deal execution, with your insights and contributions highly valued by the team.
Skills
The ideal candidate brings an additional European language and 2-3 years of experience in a top-tier investment bank. Our client is also open to candidates from a strategy consulting background, particularly those who have developed a strong technical skillset through internships in investment banking or private equity. The position entails performing commercial and financial due diligence, building financial models, executing, structuring, and negotiating terms, and managing advisors on deals.
