Our client is private equity backed, international multisite organisation with over 200 sites across five geographies offering unique and diverse services to consumers worldwide. Founded in 2008 and operating in a fragmented sector, the business is expected to continue to expand internationally through organic and in-organic growth strategies as the industry sector continues its exponential growth.
Description
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, this role will play a key part in M&A, Strategy and other key data driven analysis to help drive the growth of the business. You will play a key role in all M&A activity including identifying new acquisition targets both in current and new markets, undertaking commercial and financial due diligence, modelling & valuation, and post-acquisition integration. You will be heavily involved in a range of commercial and strategic projects including evaluation and assisting with the execution of New Product Development and other major capex opportunities, pricing strategy, and supply chain optimisation. In addition, you will be responsible for competitor analysis in existing markets as well as key analysis to help solve complex problems and improve business outcomes across the group.
Skills
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a strong academic record to date with an accounting or finance qualification such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CFA or similar. You will have a minimum of 2+ years in an analytical role, preferably with some international exposure and have some relevant experience in either transaction services or corporate finance / M&A. Alternatively, you will have spent time in a Strategy / Management Consultancy with significant exposure to M&A. You will have strong Financial Modelling skills coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key to this role is the ability to think laterally with a consultative approach to problem solving as well as the capability to manage many competing priorities simultaneously.
