Beauty & Cosmetics
- Central London
- Circa £100,000 + Bonus + LTIP
Our client is a Global Beauty & Cosmetics Group that is home to a number of highly successful brands. The company fosters a truly entrepreneurial environment that allows brands to grow and develop while still retaining the advantages of autonomy and independence. The experienced management team can already demonstrate proven success and is well positioned to further develop both existing and new brands on a global basis, by driving organic growth as well as making further acquisitions.
To support this growth, we are currently seeking an ambitious Financial Controller to join the Head Office team, reporting to the CFO. The role will focus on producing high quality business information and analysis to aid the management team in all areas of decision making. The Financial Controller will also manage a variety of ad-hoc projects, to support the CFO in further developing the Group’s finance capabilities. A small amount of international travel will be required, in order to build effective relationships with the brands and to partner with their respective finance teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Financial analysis including any specific financial or business analysis as required by the management, including the impact of new acquisitions.
- Financial projects as required by the management, including contributions to financing, capital markets or M&A transactions.
- Drive the control and internal audit approach across the Group.
- Regularly interact with Brand finance teams to drive transparency, process improvements and standardisation.
- Regularly interact and manage the relationships with external advisors, consultants, lawyers and banks.
We are looking for a finance professional with proven experience in consumer sectors and an interest in the Beauty/Cosmetics segment.
Candidates must have a strong foundation in technical finance and will ideally blend experience working in both Blue Chip and smaller entrepreneurial business environments. The ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is essential, as is the motivation to work independently and with limited supervision, to drive outcomes that have a significant impact on the business. The successful candidate should be looking for a broad and varied finance role, with the opportunity for fast-track career development by being surrounded by a best-in-class management team.
To apply for this role, please use the Apply button, or alternatively, email your CV to Patrick Anderson: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that due to the expected volume of applications, we will only be able to respond to those candidates whose experience matches the requirements of our client. We are sorry, but if you have not heard from us within the next ten days, please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
