Multi-Site Private Equity Backed Consumer Services
Our client is a diverse consumer services business which has grown organically and through acquisition to over 180 sites and in excess of £225m revenue. The firm has a consistent track-record growing revenue at a 15% compound annual growth rate over the last 10 years. This growth is set to continue following substantial private equity investment in 2021.
Description
To support this growth our client is looking to add a Finance and Tax Manager to their core finance team. You will report to the Financial Controller and enjoy regular exposure to the Finance Director, M&A Team and Director of Finance Operations, along with other non-finance stakeholders. The role will focus on three key areas: financial accounting and reporting, tax, and treasury. In addition to this you will also work on several ad hoc projects such as M&A activity and process improvement. In every aspect on this role there will be an emphasis on process improvement to ensure the business has the foundations in place to facilitate further growth.
Skills
The successful candidate for this Finance and Tax Manager role will be a qualified accountant with strong tax experience. You could be coming from the Tax team in a medium sized accountancy practice or have already made the move into industry. Exposure to working in a multi-site business is desirable as is exposure to cash management and other treasury activities, but these are not essential. Key to success in this role is the ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of senior stakeholders on complexed accounting and tax matters. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills along with a highly organised and detail-oriented approach are also required. The role is office based, 5 days a week.
