The firm has recently closed a sizeable flagship fund well above target, supported by a longstanding base of institutional investors and a track record of consistent performance.

Description

Following the launch of several new fund structures, including an endowment vehicle and an evergreen fund, there is now an opportunity for a senior finance professional to lead the operational build-out of these strategies.

This is a newly created position, reporting into senior leadership, with responsibility for setting up and overseeing all finance and operations functions related to these vehicles. The Senior Fund Controller role offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment while shaping the infrastructure of a growing platform.

There will be the opportunity to manage and grow a small team, therefore experience of team management is desirable.

Skills

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of fund finance.
  • Preparation of quarterly reporting processes as well as quarterly and monthly NAVs.
  • Lead the design and implementation of processes and systems for new fund strategies.

  • Lead fund reporting, controls, governance and compliance.

  • Build and manage a small operations team.

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders across the business.

Background:

  • Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience.

  • Experience within private equity, investment management, or fund operations.

  • Strong understanding of fund structures and regulatory requirements.

  • Team management experience is desirable.
