Our client, a highly acquisitive and dynamic software company, is seeking a Group Finance Manager to support the team on a six-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will have previous group reporting experience and be able to come in and hit the ground running. This is an exciting opportunity for a Group Finance Manager to join a fast-growing business and work in a broad and varied role.
Description
- Manage the delivery of monthly consolidation and group reporting, including responsiblitity for the preparation of the supporting information and analysis.
- Monthly group cash flow reporting and prepare relevant commentary for the group management accounts.
- Preparation of the year-end consolidation, Group and subsidiary statutory accounts and dormant accounts.
- Improve current processes and outputs to support the growth of the business.
- Drive improvements and changes in systems.
- Provide technical expertise, being able to understand, explain and calculate and influence key stakeholders across the business.
- Manage the year end audit for the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Acquisition accounting including working with external advisors and working closely with the M&A Integrations team.
- Take on ad hoc projects to meet the needs of this rapidly expanding Group, including international projects for standardisation and assimilation of acquired entities.
Skills
- ACA/CA qualified accountant with relevant post-qualified experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to provide accurate and timely solutions.
- Ability to work with external auditors and advisors, understanding their needs and requests and providing clear, concise and accurate information.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic attitude and a desire to improve and constantly identify better ways of working.
